What is a CSPR (Cosmetic Safety Product Report)
As part of the law, it is a legal requirement for you (The nail polish maker/ manufacter) to hold a safety assessment (CPSR) for the products you are retailing within the EU. This must be completed by a suitable compliant qualified safety assessor chemist.

The safety assessor takes account of:
a) The general toxicological profile of each raw material used
b) The chemical structure of each material
c) The level of exposure of each material
d) The specific exposure characteristics of the areas on which the cosmetic product will be applied
e) The specific exposure characteristics of the class of individuals for whom the cosmetic product is intended.

All of the ingredients have a history of use in cosmetic and toiletry products.
The Ingredients are assessed to check for the following:
a) that they are not prohibited under the Cosmetics Regulation
b) that they are not restricted when used beyond the allowed authorized conditions
c) hold toxicological data that is incompatible with the intended concentration and use
d) that have insufficient toxicological data or safety in use experience
​e) that are not properly characterized with regard to purity and analytical composition are excluded

In addition to a safety assessment,  correct labelling must be present on your product creations and you must hold a PIF ( Product Information File) we will include a PIF template after purchase with completed CSPR's
